Terms of Service
About these terms
Adarie, Inc. provides Doknya. Email contact@doknya.com for support, questions, complaints, or claims.
These terms cover Doknya’s online services on all platforms and the license to use its Android app. On Apple devices, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement covers the app license. These terms do not override Apple’s license or applicable store terms.
Using the app
We grant you a personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the Android app on devices you own or control, subject to applicable store rules. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. Where the law permits, a parent or guardian may enter it on your behalf.
Keep your account secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. You must not resell access, bypass usage limits, disrupt the service, or use it unlawfully. These restrictions do not affect rights granted by law or open-source licenses, including permitted interoperability work.
Your content and AI results
You keep your rights to the material you submit. You must have the rights or other lawful authority needed to submit it for processing through Doknya. You allow us and our service providers to process it as needed to provide the features you use, protect the service, and comply with the law. This permission does not transfer ownership of your material to us.
We may store submitted text and generated results for reuse in later requests, including requests from other users. Our Privacy Policy explains how long we keep these copies and how to request deletion of personal information in them.
AI results, including annotations, translations, and explanations, may contain errors or omit information. They are for learning and should not be relied on as professional advice. We cannot guarantee that a result is unique, qualifies for copyright protection, or is free of third-party rights.
Free and Plus usage limits
Free and Plus have different AI usage limits. Every Plus plan has the same usage limits, whether you pay monthly or yearly. Each request counts toward these limits based on its processing cost.
Your available AI usage refills gradually, up to your plan’s limits. The daily and 30-day usage balances refill separately. Billing dates and the start of a new day or month do not reset them, and available usage never builds up beyond the limits.
For each limit, the app shows the percentage still available and when it was last checked. Available AI usage cannot be exchanged for cash. Reading saved results does not count toward your usage limits.
We may also temporarily limit excessive requests or abusive traffic.
Payments and cancellation
The purchase screen and store confirmation show the price, currency, billing interval, and conditions of any offer. The store charges your payment method. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel through the store before its renewal deadline.
To manage or cancel a subscription, use the subscription controls in Doknya or your store account settings. Deleting the app or your Doknya account does not cancel the subscription. After cancellation, access normally lasts until the end of the paid period, unless the store revokes or refunds the purchase. Refunds are subject to applicable law and the store’s policies. Your legal rights to a refund still apply.
To restore a purchase, use the store account you purchased with and sign in to the Doknya account that should receive access. Transferring a subscription requires confirmation in the app.
Changes to Doknya
We may update Doknya to improve it, keep it compatible with supported systems, fix security issues, or meet legal obligations. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to these terms or the paid service.
If we lower the amount of AI usage included in your paid plan, the change will take effect at renewal, with reasonable advance notice. Temporary restrictions to address misuse or security threats may still apply.
If we can no longer provide a material paid feature during a paid period, we will offer an appropriate remedy, including a refund where required. Price changes must follow the store’s notice and consent requirements.
Network failures, provider outages, or maintenance may interrupt online features. Contact us if you cannot access a paid benefit.
Privacy and other services
Our Privacy Policy at https://www.doknya.com/privacy explains how we handle personal information. If privacy law requires your consent, we will ask for it separately.
When you purchase through an app store, visit an external website, or choose to connect another service, that service’s applicable terms govern your use of it. If a Doknya feature requires you to accept additional third-party terms, we will identify and link to them before you use that feature. Accessing someone else’s material through Doknya does not change who owns it.
Closing an account or restricting access
You can stop using Doknya at any time. To delete your account, open Settings → Doknya Plus. If you are signed out, tap Sign in in the Account section. Then tap Delete account and confirm. If prompted to cancel a subscription, turn off renewal through the store, return to Doknya, and try deleting your account again.
Deleting your account removes your Doknya profile and subscription links. Your saved reading data stays on your device. Using Doknya on another device where you are still signed in may create a new account. Contact us if you need help.
We may restrict access for material misuse, fraud, security threats, or legal requirements. We will limit restrictions to what is reasonably needed to address the issue. When possible, we will explain why and give you a chance to resolve the issue. We may need to act first in an urgent situation. Contact us if you want to challenge a restriction.
Ending access does not cancel store charges already incurred or affect your rights under applicable law.
Liability and disputes
We provide Doknya with reasonable care and skill, but cannot guarantee accurate AI results or uninterrupted online services. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when this agreement was made.
These terms do not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or injury caused by negligence. They also do not limit any other liability or consumer rights that cannot be limited by law.
Please contact us first to try to resolve a problem. You remain free to bring a claim in any court available to you under applicable law. These terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to take part in class proceedings.
